Welcome to “playing full out,” we are two leatherdykes with a deep passion for contribution and service to our leather community. 

Vanguard was born out of a writing exercise in 1999 when Lady Hilary scribbled down the endless list of “what do really want in your life?”  The vision to create an opportunity for kinky, queer, leather, women and men to gather, share and grow in their lives both inside and outside the dungeon has been developed by Lady Hilary and Her Marine.

We produce retreats, workshops, teach classes, and coach in service to our entire community.  We value all the women, men, gender queers, and freaks that weave together the fabric of this incredible BDSM kink quilt.

Lady Hilary and Marine have been sharing their lives, home, and hearts since the Fall of 1999 in an Owner/property dynamic.  Their goal is to share what they have learned with you, and if they are lucky, to learn from you as well.

Look around the site, we offer the Vanguard Retreat which is a 2-day intensive with a focus on living a joyful, passionate life, free from the limiting beliefs we all carry deep inside.  The retreat provides an opportunity for deeper self-understanding and gives you the ability to know your own powerful truth.  Our all day workshops both support the retreat experience as well as give you a taste of our style.  We love to present at various leather and kink events and are happy to share our experience with your group.  A full listing of our current offerings is available on the classes page.  Our final offering, is near and dear to both of us, is Leather Life Coaching!
