Dear Lady Hilary and Beautiful Marine,

What an amazing weekend!!! The lessons I learned from you both are still rolling around in my head and shaping the way I am thinking about things, and making changes in my life.

The first thing I found very useful was learning to identify limiting beliefs. I cant believe how these mental constructs were hampering my life in ways that I did not realize, but thank god not only do you help us identify them, you provide tools to change them. And those tools work!

I have been using them with Sir and making huge strides in our relationship and defining what parts of our dynamic work best and nourish who we are inside.

The other part I found really valuable was the part where you taught us about creating rapport, whether I am using this technique for hot pick up play or for making sales in my career I think this is one of the most valuable tools in my tool box.

I first became attracted to the leather lifestyle because I saw a group of hot sexy men that lived with a code of honor and a code of conduct. This resonated with me, I have a deep desire to live with integrity and excellence, in my life, and I tend to seek out tools and humans to help me create that in my world.

I have been to quite a few personal growth seminars in my life, because I truly find it valuable to ask myself the questions, What do I want in my life? What are the results I am getting toward that goal? What is holding me back? And what can I do to get better results?

I believe that I always benefit by learning new ways to sharpen and hone my skills in communication, connection, in both work and play. It is why I go to a lot of SM events as well. I feel investing in living my life and lifestyle will pay off in spades, and it has:

I serve the most incredibly sexy, intelligent, courageous man I have ever met and have been for years, I own an amazing slave, I belong to an awesome leather family, I have collected wonderful friends and I am the top seller in my company 6 years in a row!

And I have achieved my biggest goal of my life, to loose 70 lbs and look great in my pony gear…ie: for my outer body to reflect the fine, strong, sleek, playful thoroughbred horse I am inside.

However although I got a lot from these seminars over the years, I never felt fully accepted there. They are overwhelmingly hetero-normative Judeo-Christians and this is predominantly their world view.

Although I can pass in that world, I identify as a poly, queer, sex positive, leather woman and have often found myself not being able to talk openly about my lovers, or able to share the deepest most meaningful parts of my life in any sort of authentic way with out being judged.

Being in a room of people striving for excellence in their lives from my very own tribe was truly a dream come true!

I am so glad that you had the vision to bring this work to our community, I am so glad that you put all the countless hours days and years into creating a weekend that is a huge asset  to our Poly, BDSM, GLBTQQAA, tribes teaching folks how to get what ever their hedonistic hearts desire and to PLAY LIFE FULL OUT!
