• Address all Cadre and Peers as requested; using monikers as requested and or Ma'am and Sir.
• Be polite and kind with each other.
• Always ask for clarification if you are not sure.

Uniform for Vanguard

We have a focus on building camaraderie, demonstrated by working together and dressing similarly.  We are aware of  different body types and senses of style; the Vanguard "uniform" is simple and allows for personal expression.

• Boots are representational of your path, a pair of black leather
  boots are to be with you at Vanguard, they are not to be worn unless
  indicated. All other footwear is acceptable, you will be up, moving,
  and sitting, consider comfort, and flexibility.
• During instruction time you are to be wearing black bottoms:
  pants, shorts, kilts, skirts, tights, what ever is comfortable and
  black, think a bit polished.
• Friday and Saturday your top's should be white: T-shirt,
  button down, polo, turtle, tank top (and free of large non-leather
  logos).
• Sunday your top should be black, again any form that takes.
• Vanguard Leather has a logo on file at Land's End, you can
  feel free to order something with the logo if you wish for any of the
  weekends.  Lands End has a large selection of items for branding; this
  provides you with a personal form of a "run T-shirt".  See Resources page
